Follow these celebrities to make your shift to animal-cruelty free products and apparel.

Left. Ariana Grande (singer). She has been vegan since 2013, stating that “I love animals more than I love most people, not kidding”.

Middle. Kate Winslet (actress). A vocal opponent of fur, who has stated and is very firm that she would never wear fur.

Right. Liam Hemsworth (actor). Vegan and lover of animals, who has 6 dogs.

Left. Woody Harrelson (actor). He has been vegan for over 10 years.

Middle. Pink (singer). She has worked alongside PETA several times, helping to promote the boycott of Australian wool, and became the voice for PETA’s “Stolen for Fashion” public service announcement, where an alligator and a rabbit fight against the humans who stole their skin.

Right. Alicia Silverstone (actress). A vegan who is against anything animal-cruelty related.

Left. James Cromwell (actor). He has been a vegan for two decades, when he was the actor for 1995’s Babe, the role of a pig-saving farmer.

Middle. Twiggy (supermodel). The renowned supermodel was part of Animal Defenders International in its campaign to teach fur-free ethics in the clothing industry London Fashion Week. “Fur looks beautiful on animals, but very ugly on humans” and “Fur is literally ripped off animal’s backs and it can take many animals to make just one coat. The UK prides itself as a nation of animal lovers, so I am asking London Fashion Week to make an ethical choice and reject real fur”, she states.

Right. Simon Cowell (reality television judge). He is extremely against wearing fur in coats, collars, and cuffs and encourages consumers to do the same.

Left. Jenna Dewan-Tatum (actress).A vegan who chooses cruelty-free cosmetics and beauty products, also starring in a campaign “Leave Wildlife Out of Your Wardrobe”, telling customers not to buy apparel or accessories made from animal skins.

Middle. Jared Leto (actor and rocker). A vegan who even went on his twitter to address false rumours that he was wearing fur. He tweeted, “To whom it may concern, of course its FAKE FUR. I would never wear REAL fur. Ever. Not my thing. Happy Valentines day. XO”.

Do not follow the trends of red carpet fur fashion from other celebrities, follow these vegan and animal-friendly celebrity examples. We hope this vegan and faux trend will take over the red carpet one day.

  1. Great to see that so many high profile celebrities are taking a stand against products that are harmful to animals, hopefully more will follow in their stead. I think that it’s super important that role models get behind issues such as this to draw attention to harmful industries that should not be active in 2016.
